  • Worship Pastor:
    Christie Kelly

    email: Christie@bethmeth.com

Christie graduated in 2009 from Eastern University in St. David's, Pennsylvania with a degree in Vocal Performance. Although her original plan was to pursue a career in that field, God redirected her into full time ministry. Since then, He has nurtured in her a passion to see others experience the Holy Spirit's presence and power through music and song. Her desire is to see God worshiped in complete freedom and surrender starting with the children all the way up to our oldest members.

It was at Indiana Wesleyan that he met his bride, Rebecca, who he married in May 2015. He loves the opportunity to introduce kids to a big God who loves them more than they can imagine. Kevin enjoys playing basketball, following Philadelphia sports, superheroes, board games, Reee's cups and ice cream.

  • YOuth Pastor:
    Heather Houston

    email: heather@bethmeth.com

Heather graduated from Eastern University in 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Youth Ministry. Originally intending to become a preschool teacher, God tugged on her heart halfway through college to realize that her greatest passion was working with teenagers. After graduating Eastern, she attended the Center for Youth Ministry Training, a three-year Master's program in Tennessee, where she studied at Memphis Theological Seminary and worked part-time as a Youth Pastor. Heather grew up attending the youth programs at BUMC and felt God leading her to give back to the youth ministry that gave so much to her as a teenager. She is thrilled to be back at BUMC!

Heather enjoys hiking and the outdoors, volleyball, deep theological conversations and spending time with friends. She is pretty obsessed with her dog, Webster and her husband, John. Her favorite quote says, "The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet." (Frederick Buechner) For her, that place is Youth Ministry
